Why settle for good when you can be…..

SACRIFICE….

It is giving up something that you need for the greater good of something yet to come either for you or someone around you…

As we’re in the height of this Easter season, our minds are called back to remember the sacrifice of a one, Jesus Christ. Who gave up heaven, to take on the form of man to live, walk, breath, and feel like us. His greater purpose was to do the will of God. So He willingly and unquestionably did just that.

My day started at 4:27a.m. today… and from the time my foot hit the floor, I was in “Go” mode. I had to go train a client at his house, then I had to go train people at the gym, then i had to go get fingerprints done, then I had to go to a business meeting, all day i was go go go, and then finally my night culminated with me having to go preach at a service that didn’t end until 11:00p.m. Now don’t get it wrong, I’m not complaining, but we talking bout Sacrifice…..

Sometimes in life….a lot of times in life we are going to want to do certain things to accomplish the goals that we set. Especially when it comes to working out. We have to sacrifice our time, energy, junk food cravings, nights out with friends, just because we are focused on reaching a goal. And that’s what it takes, people. ANYTHING WORTH HAVING WILL REQUIRE SACRIFICE!!  If the things you want to do don’t require sacrifice on some level, either its too easy, or not worth what you think it is. I’ll say it again, this time in bold  italics…

If the things you want to do don’t require sacrifice on some level, either its too easy, or not worth what you think it is.

This leads me into another topic about goal setting that that I don’t have the time to touch right now, however, the greater the sacrifice is, the greater the reward is to be expected.

So be blessed, be Awesome, never quit, and never give in. Hold fast to your faith and trust in the one who keeps you. Because through Him and with Him, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE…!
